When we arrived at the hotel, the smell in the rooms was musty and smoky, even though we requested a non-smoking room. We knew immediately we couldn't stay even for a night, let alone the week we had booked. The window AC/heater units were there and functional, but they didn't quite get rid of the humidity. The refurbishment was evident, but the musty smell lingered.
